Welcome to the SGN Articles section! We've created this space to be the central hub for extensive server updates, changelogs, and anything else we're working on. While we'll still use Discord for quick announcements, having a dedicated articles section allows us to provide more detailed information and better-organized content.

The website is still brand new, and we're currently figuring out exactly what features and content we want to include in the long run. We're very open to your feedback, so if you have any suggestions for what you'd like to see here as we continue to build out the platform, please let us know!

To get things started, we've got several major updates to share. While some of these have been out for a while, we're including them here for completeness.


Major Updates

We launched!

On January 18th, 2026, we finally reached the point where we felt comfortable enough to release to the public. We're still working on the next iteration which will include the inventory system that we had started with originally, but we're excited to have something to show for all of our hard work and start gathering feedback.

The Website

We've built this new website from the ground up to be more than just a place for news. It's now the home for your SGN account, featuring a new dashboard where you can manage your profile, link your accounts, and view your community profile. The articles section is here to keep you better informed about server developments in a more permanent, organized format.

As part of this transition, we've decided to phase out the forum for now to focus our efforts on Discord and this new website. This website is still brand new, and we’re currently figuring out exactly what features and content we want to have in the long run. We're very open to your feedback, so if you have any suggestions or ideas for what you'd like to see here, please let us know!

The Spray Manager & Wheel

Unlike other servers where you'd need to manually copy and manipulate image URLs, we've streamlined the entire process with our very own Spray Manager. It makes it easier for everyone to manage their collection without digging through local files or dealing with technical hurdles.

We've also doubled the effective amount of sprays available in-game at any given time, giving you more ways to express yourself on the fly. This system isn't just about convenience—it's also our way of ensuring that all sprays meet our server guidelines, keeping the community experience high-quality and welcoming for everyone.

Once you join our Discord server and link your account, you'll unlock 4 upload slots and 2 spray wheel slots to get started.

Player Models & Paints

We've added a new selection of player models and added paints: a way to set your color versus being randomly assigned one. Also if you're feeling fancy (and have deep pockets) you could even choose to opt for an anmated paint which smoothly interpolates between several colors.

Map Updates

We've refreshed the rotation to keep things interesting, we're always looking for new maps to add into the rotation, especially smaller ones.

We plan on adding a map list to the website at some point along with a proper suggestions sytstem. For now we would ecourage you to keep a short list of maps you'd like to see and share it once we have a better system in place for receiving suggestions.

Weapons

A few weapons have been tweaked for balance and gameplay with the silenced pistol being the most notable.

Variable Scope Zoom

Miscellaneous Changes

Features
  • Added player paints to the Pointshop for purchase.
  • Added spray manager and spray wheel system.
  • Added variable scope zoom.
Improvements
  • Maps now use FastDL allowing for easier management and speedier downloads.
Fixed
  • Pointshop loadout weapons should no longer force you to switch weapons when the round starts.
  • Damage logs properly record events during the round.
  • MC Richland skybox should now be visible.
Removed
  • Some maps that were not properly packed with assets have been temporarily removed from the map rotation, no ETA on their return.

And that's a wrap! I know there was a lot to cover, but we're really excited about these changes and can't wait to see you all in-game.

We have a lot of plans both for the website and TTT server, expect to see at least one monthly update, game patch notes, and more come to the website this year.
